This policy explains how donations, site coins/Crisps, chapter unlocks, and refunds work on BBP Translations.

By donating, purchasing coins/Crisps, or unlocking chapters, you agree to this policy.

1. Purpose of Donations and Coins/Crisps

Donations and coin/Crisp purchases help support:

  • More translations
  • Editing and proofreading
  • Site maintenance
  • Community features
  • The time and cost involved in preparing chapters

Coins/Crisps and donations do not purchase ownership of any novel, translation, copyright, account, or permanent access right.

2. Locked Chapters and Early Access

Some chapters may be locked and may be unlocked with site coins/Crisps.

Locked chapters may eventually become publicly available, but public release may be delayed, revised, removed, restricted, or cancelled depending on site circumstances, rights holder requests, translator availability, technical issues, or other reasons.

We may change release schedules, coin/Crisp costs, unlock systems, locked-chapter availability, or supporter features at any time.

3. Coins/Crisps

Coins, also known as Crisps, are a site feature used to unlock eligible chapters or features.

Coins/Crisps:

  • Have no cash value outside this website
  • Cannot be exchanged for money
  • Cannot be transferred unless we specifically allow it
  • Do not give ownership of any content
  • May be adjusted or removed if there is fraud, abuse, chargeback activity, technical error, payment reversal, or policy violation
  • Do not guarantee permanent access to any specific series or chapter

Coins/Crisps do not expire unless otherwise stated, but access to specific content may still change due to takedowns, technical issues, site decisions, or other circumstances.

4. Donations

Donations are voluntary support.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, donations are not purchases of specific goods and are generally non-refundable.

5. Refunds

Because coins/Crisps and chapter unlocks are digital items, completed purchases and used coins/Crisps are generally final and non-refundable.

We may consider refunds or corrections for:

  • Duplicate payments
  • Payment processing errors
  • Coins/Crisps not credited because of a technical issue
  • Accidental purchase reports made quickly and before coins/Crisps are used
  • Other cases we consider fair at our discretion

We may refuse refunds for:

  • Used coins/Crisps
  • Already-unlocked chapters
  • Change of mind
  • Dislike of a story or translation
  • Failure to read warnings, tags, chapter status, or age notices
  • Account bans caused by rule violations
  • Chargeback abuse, fraud, or payment manipulation

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you open a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first, we may temporarily restrict your account while the issue is reviewed.

Fraudulent payments, chargeback abuse, or payment manipulation may result in loss of coins/Crisps, removal of access, account suspension, or account termination.

7. Content Removal

Because this is a fan translation website, content may be removed due to rights holder requests, site decisions, technical issues, translator availability, or other reasons.

Coins/Crisps, donations, or chapter unlocks do not guarantee that any series or chapter will remain available forever.
